Boardsmill started their 2013 hurling campaign with a win away to neighbours Trim today, Sunday 3rd March. As always with these near rivals it was a physical affair with plenty of frees given away by either side. Boardsmill started the better of the two sides and went into the break two points up, a powerful strike from Cathal Flattery giving the Boardsmill side the goal.

The second half continued in the same manor with an even more physical contest, however Boardsmill outscored the home side giving them the win at the final whistle. Best for Boardsmill was Jim Bird, Ray Hatton and Liam O'Brien.
